Podrones, India Post and Blue Dart collaborated to introduce automated digital parcel lockers that allow consignees to conveniently retrieve their shipments from the lockers.
Ahar Nisham Vitaran or ANVIT for short, is an Intelligent Parcel Delivery Service launched by Podrones for India Post to provide 24x7 convenience to consumers for pickup of parcels from the Post Office.
For the first time in the country, a digital parcel locker service has been unveiled at two post offices — one in Sector V and the other in New Town.
India Post has decided to help those who often miss out receiving parcels because they are away at work and have no one at home to receive the consignment on their behalf.
