COVID-19 First Letter to Stakeholders
Great companies start because the founders want to change the world... not make a fast buck.
~Guy KawasakiDear Friends:
These are extraordinary times. The Pandemic has affected a wide range of businesses and more importantly a wide swath of our society. I am writing to you to tell you that the entire team at Podrones is with you during this difficult time, and will be with you when the present crisis goes away.
First, we have an obligation to ourselves to remain healthy, so that we can take care of those around us. Remaining healthy also helps the community – succumbing to the infection only spreads it more in the community. So quarantine yourself, wash your hands regularly and get plenty food and sleep.
Second, let us do something for our community and the people around us. It has and will affect the old, the weak and the poor the hardest. Research has shown that giving creates the greatest and the most long-lasting happiness. We are now offering free delivery services of food and medicines to anyone over the age of 70 or anyone who is in dire need, in the cities where we have a presence. Also, usage of our PodBanks to individuals is free until further notice. PodBanks are a great way to get contact-less delivery and thus stop the spread of infection. Call us or email us if you or someone you know needs these services.
The world will return to normal. Our children will return to school, people will return to work, we will gather at places of worship, concerts, and sporting events again. But in some way, things will never be the same. Podrones will be there for you to solve your logistics issues the way we have always done it and in the new paradigm whatever it may be.
Sincerely,
A. Gupte
